Fiberglass
Fiberglass
Fiberglass is the foundation of the composites industry. It is often the best all-purpose choice among reinforcements for creating composite parts with excellent strength, low weight, and dimensional stability.
Fabricators also choose fiberglass because:
- It provides a quick and affordable way to build parts and molds, and make repairs.
- It's easy to handle—and you can depend on consistent handling characteristics time after time.
- It conforms to complex shapes, and withstands tough environmental conditions.
Chopped Strands
Chopped Strands are an ideal filler for polyester and vinylester resins. They provide excellent impact strength, and high strand stiffness.
- Diameter: 11um-13um
- length: 3mm,4.5mm,6.0mm
- color: white
Needle mat:
Needle mat is non-woven fiberglass material that is made of diverse size and form of glass fibers that are needle-felted in sheets. Material is needle punched to create monolith blanket in a required thickness.
Needled mats are excellent non-woven products for the insulation market, which are made from 3 different glass types: E-glass 600°C, HR-glass 800°C and SiO2-glass 1000+°C. Each glass type is providing its own specific qualities.
- Thickness: 3mm~25mm
- Width: Max. 3.3m
- Length: Max. 150M
- Density: 900~2250 g/m2
Stitched Mat
Fiberglass Stitched Mat is made by chopping continuous strands into chopped strands and stitching them together.
- Thickness: 3mm~25mm
- Color: White
- Width: Max. 3.3m
- Length: Max. 150M
- Density: 300 g /m2
Combo mat
Fiberglass combo mat, also called fiberglass woven roving combo mat, is a combination of woven roving and chopped fiberglass yarns. We use high strength polyester thread to stitch the distributed chopped strand layer and the woven roving fabric. Finished products can be compatible with unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, epoxy resin and phenolic resin, etc.
Standard specification of woven roving is 300 g/m² to 900 g/m², and that of chopped strands is 50 g/m² to 500 g/m². All the above specifications can be available for your different requirements. Fiberglass woven roving stitched combo mat is widely used in molding compressing, pultrusion, hand lay-up, RTM, vacuum and filament winding process.
- Thickness: 0.035–0.5 mm.
- Width: 50–3200 mm.
- Length: 50–100 m.
- Density:
- Area weight: 700–1700 g/m².
- Woven roving: 300–900 g/m².
- Chopped strands: 50–500 g/m².
Tissue mat
Fiberglass Tissue Mat is made from continuous fiberglass in stranding with binder.it is loose and flexible, could be infiltrated by matrix material easily. It is mainly applied to wind blade, pultrusion profiles etc.
- Thickness: 3mm~25mm
- Width: Max. 1m
- Length: Max. 150M
- Density: 20-120g/m2
